Be glad you aren't a Jordanian!  Just got back from a week there and
wondered why everyone was pootling about.  A local said the price had just
gone up by 25%.  They pay about 2/3rds what we pay in the UK, which is fine
on our average income, but when you consider the income of the majority of
the Jordanian population is probably equivalent to several times the UK
price.
