Engine for MGB

I have come across a Mazda MX-6 V6 engine.  I will find out the year
tomorrow but I believe it's a late 90's. Does anyone know if one of these
has ever been fitted to an MGB?  I believe it's the same engine as the 90's
V6 Ford Probe.  Just curious.  If it is not possible or too time/$$$
consuming, I will pass on the engine, but if it is doable and somewhat
inexpensive I may look into the change.  Thanks in advance!
