I almost bought a '73 Midget for a daily driver a few weeks ago, but
I'm going to be driving an extra 300 miles per week next semester (grad
school) and I didn't feel like having a breakdown on the side of the
interstate in the winter months. Plus, I wasn't 100% on driving it
when the weather is snowy. Not that that happens a lot here in
Arkansas, home of global warming. Plus it was originally purple, but
now sported a light blue "Earl Scheib Special", so having a purple
engine compartment would have bugged me to death.
