Thomas, these aren't available often.  It seems that a batch will be made
and then they are available for $$$ but only for a couple of months.  I
don't see why a shop that does brake linings or clutch linings couldn't do
this, but the trouble is probably in finding the shop.

I disassembled my broken overdrive and discovered the clutch lining on the
sliding member is broken.  See pics here:

According to my Moss catalog, these are not available.  I can't find my VB
catalog, but I thought I remember the price being ~$300 there.  That's a
little too steep to swallow.

Are there any other repair options?  Is the clutch material available?  Is
this something an automatic transmission shop could repair?
