I've checked the mesurement twice on each cylinder.

Never turned the engine back ... always forward, very slowly, some times
engaging 4th gear and moving the car forward

Forgot to mention that the engine has been completely rebuilt, rebored, new
chain, tensioner, valves, guides, pistons, crankshaft, tappets, etc, etc.
That doesn't mean it was done right, of course ...

I've also just ordered a timing light with advance mesurement. Hope to get
it before the weekend.
