No, it doesn't matter who you use, so you might as well shop for price, with
these caveats:
- if their website looks sleazy or fly-by-night, it probably is... look
elsewhere;
- customer service (needed only when there is a problem, but then it is
really needed) varies a lot -- Network Solutions is actually pretty bad in
this respect. It once took me 6 months to get a domain transferred from
Network Solutions to another carrier, so beware.
You might try Buydomains.com, and if you need web hosting, iPowerWeb has a
very good package with domain name registration thrown in for free.
