Hi Great Listers: I have installed the rebuilt engine in my son's 74B, and seek some advice from you. I want to prepare the engine for starting by making sure as much is lubricated as possible prior to cranking. I put about 2 ounces of Marvel Mystery Oil in each cylinder through the spark plug hole and then hand cranked with the aid of a socket on the crank; hoping this would help. What is next? Pour oil on the head and let it run down to the sump? Any help is greatly appreciated. Dennis Barr |
