Never considered this before, but here's an idea:
First of all, next time you have the tire dismounted, write your name on
the inside of the wheel with a scriber or vibratory marker.
Second, what about drilling a hole through the ear of the knockoff and
running a lock-wire through that and around a couple of spokes? I have
seen these wires in bike shops and such, a strong braided wire of some
sort with plastic tubing on the wire and a small, lightweight lock the
wire locks into. Since it would be toward the middle of the wheel and
doesn't weigh much, it shouldn't be a balance problem. Just a thought.
Maybe Moss will look into this possibility and come up with something
better.
