Blake:
Check with Carl Heideman at Eclectic Motorworks 616-355-2850. He has made a
jig to ensure the accuracy of the frame extension and also has the stamps to
put the sway bar reliefs into an earlier style unit. I don't know what he
charges to do this, but if you have a good condition early unit, it would
probably be cost effective.
Since the extensions can easily be shipped, it makes sense to go to a
specialist who can ensure that the extension is straight and true before you go
to the trouble of hanging bumpers etc.
hope this helps
Kelvin.
