I agree. I've done both and the front is better from both integrity and sound
points of view. The available hole is a little smaller, and twice (out of the
three I've done) I've needed to fashion spacers out of 1/4" plywood painted
black to keep the speaker magnet clear of the window mechanism because I
probably put in a bigger speaker than I should have, but really with a jig saw
this is no big deal.
