Oh yeah on the Traction control! I already discovered that.
Chevrolet even has it in the owner's manual to (verbatim) "disable the
Traction control before competitive use". There's this little button on the
console that does that real quick!
I read the Owner's manual cover to cover last night (he-he)!
I LOVE this thing (the new Black Beauty Vette that is).
See photos of them together that I just posted to the site at:

Those C-5s are nice. A bit slower, smaller, less power and better handling
than the Lockheed C-5. A few years ago a student asked if I'd be willing to
drive him around Sears Point in his. I was very impressed, the only problem
was that I couldn't get any power coming out of turn 11. At first I thought
I was missing a shift and hitting 5th rather than third, It turned out that
it was the traction control kicking in! Unfortunately we figured it out just
before they checkered the session, so I never got a full on lap. Just keep
that in mind when you take her out to the track, that you may want to
disable the traction control. :)

I've found something worse than oldies station that play the music I used to
listen to. Oldies stations that play the "new" music I used to complain
about.
