79 Radiator Fan Switch/Guages

I pulled the fan switch out of its grommet and now it won't stay in. It blows
out. What do you use to hold it in place?
Also is there a fuse to this unit as my fans don't seem to kick on? One more
item, every so often I have my Temp gauge, Tach & Fuel gauge go out. Are they
on one circuit & are they connected to the circuit with my Fan Switch?
