Hi list, sweet success for me today. I slipped out of work early today .
Warmed the engine and then torqued the head, redid the valves and messed
with the carb. I got it in the ball park and took the car for a drive.
Through trial and error the engine developed more and more power and run
smoother. So, my cam swap has concluded. I will take the car to the shop so
they can tweak the carb properly.
Oh! did I say my gauges all work.
Tomorrow, the top comes down and its fun in the sun. Thanks to all for the
