I suspected there might be some kind of issue with the manifold. But AFAIK
(i.e. what my 66 has), the PCV-to-manifold connection is just a very very
short piece of rubber hose with 2 hose clamps, to a nipple on the manifold.
That should be no problem to set up. I think the hole is still there on
later manifolds, with a plug in it. Or you could drill and tap it for a
simple nipple.
I guess the $50+ cost of the PCV could be an issue (yipes!). Maybe someone
who has done a Weber conversion has one laying about. How about the donor
car for the carburetors?
Besides the PCV there is also a sort of bracket that holds it upright but it
scarcely seems vital. A simple angle bracket could replace it if necessary.
You could just leave the vacuum advance arrangement alone, then.
