Tonight was the first time my wife drove her red
77 Midget in about a year, and it wasn't very
pleasant!
We bled (mostly anyway) the brakes so they're
working and proceeded to drive down our street.
We made it about 1/2 a mile just about to the home
of a red 75 Midget when it died.
After a few attempts to get it goign and drive 20
feet each time, I realized that the distributor
pinch bolt isn't holding the distributor.
It's a 77 Midget 1500 with the 45DM disty removed
and replaced with a 25D points style.
How do I make the pinch bolt grab the distributor
correctly? I've tried several times and through
the process of timing it, it always comes loose.
Thanks,
