redqueen is an interesting case. For a long time he sold some great stuff at
good prices and didn't get a single negative review. He then apparenly got
rather ill, and had to keep selling parts but was too sick to ship... he
says... Then he suddenly got massive amounts of bad comments, his status
even went "private'" for a short while. Altogether I don't know whats come
of him, I hope he's not dead. I have had several interesting email
conversations with him when he first started listing on ebay and wrote me
some very long interesting letters about parts hunting in South America, and
ancient obsolete lucas parts buried in basements of mud buildings... Almost
Indiana Jones stuff. He was once the real McCoy... and those parts ARE
there... and he still claims he will be shipping everythign last I looked...
but that he is a slow-shipper (and he states that he states it listed in
every auction...) But seriously, no person should cash checks and then not
mail it for MONTHS. Thats just wrong. I"ve never ordered parts from
"redqueen" but based on the timing of the bad comments and the hsipping
problems, and the story he says... I think this was more of a tragedy than
outright intention fraud of LBC owners. I hope you are all able to collect
what you paid for.
Now the Sebring MGC... THAT was fraud!
