There was some talk of this a while back on the MG bbs. Someone
mentioned that the engine is too tall.
You might as well just put in a V8. The Miata engine is the same size
or smaller depending on the year, (it puts out about 120-140hp
depending on the year, revs higher than the MG engine (red is at 7,
governor kicks in a 7200 (yep, I have a miata as well.)) but it would
not look right. The V8 looks right and will put out more power.
