| I he has an inductive tach, take it out of the dash and clean the connectors for the white wires. Clean both the wire ends and the tach plug & recepticle. My experience has been that the Pertronix lets the system draw more current, especially if he's running a HV coil and a little bit of resistance in the white circuit can cause a miss.
