You wouldn't have > installed a roller throwout bearing, by any chance? Don't know as I haven't had the engine out....yet. I had an 80 B that I bought new develop a loose flywheel after about 2k miles. Fortunately there was an MG dealer in Pittsburgh who fixed me up in a day. Warranty even covered it!
