Are all the MGB 1800 bare blocks, including the main caps, identical? I
want to prep an early block while I drive my 1980 B. That way I can do
the swap in one day after the machine work on the short block has been
completed. I just don't know if there is any difference that would make
the earlier block incompatible with the later pistons, head, valves,
etc. Anyone else experience this?
