|   This has me worried.  I just replaced the windshield on my '69 B. 
Getting the bottom screws started was a real bugger.   The old one was
cracked about 6" in from the edge on the driver's side when I bought the
car ~3 yrs ago.  Haven't put it back on the car yet -- it's in the paint
booth -- so I don't know how well the bolt holes will line up.  However,
they weren't under tension when I removed them.  
  Did your windshield crack right off the bat or did it take some
running?
