I think that is a great year. First year of all-synchro, yet the engine
still gutsy. But remember what must be a standard warning on wires--pull all
of them and check hubs and wheels for the condition of the splines. Sharp,
angled edges on the splines are a certain predictor of, as Flight
International calls it, a sudden, sharp "twang" one day in the not too
distant future as both hub and splines strip. Bill for that--if you do the
labor--around $300 per wheel.
