I'm still trying to figure out this thread.  As a TC owner, I am quite
interested in information on knock off wire wheels.  But from what I
understand is that someone is running on wire wheels with stripped
splines.  No wonder he has problems.  No amount of swapping from side to
side or tightening will make up for the stripped splines that are meant
to take the driving and braking forces.    Fix the basic problem!
