It was $3341.90 back in May 1994 - parts were $1508.15 and labor was
$1528.94). This included a major tune-up as the car had sat for all this
time, and a new fuel tank since the current one had leaked when topped
up... So, say about $2900 without those 2 items... Had the work done at
The Wire Wheel in Rochester, NY. 

Interesting aside - the accident happened in September 1989. The original
repair estimate was $2055.36 (using $28/hour shop rates!), and the
insurance company withheld $555.36 to be paid once the car was repaired.
After I had the car fixed, I sent the insurance company a letter and they
promptly sent me the additional monies due without question...! That's one
of the reasons I am interested in your experience with Hagerty.

Good luck - and don't wait 5 years before getting it repaired!!
