I was trying to check the timing on the BGT tonight and after marking it with blanco (white correction fluid) I noticed that at 1,000 rpm it was nowhere in sight when the strobe pin was on cylinder #1. However it appeared at +10 degrees when I put the strobe pin on cylinder #3. What's wrong here? The engine works nice and smooth, pulls great, gives excellent CO and HC readings (about halfway to the maximum allowed) but it overruns big time when I turn it off. Any ideas?
