Hi dan,

I did the cleaning on this a few weeks ago:
Just use chrome cleaner (for bikes) and the result is very nice.
After this job, I've polished it with normal car polish. The looks are fine
now.

Cheers,

Subject: Steering Wheel Rust

Out for a spin in the high-60 degree Central NJ weather today - even saw
a CB BGT and chatted at a stoplight for a moment!

The rust spots on my steering wheel spokes are finally getting to me....
Any suggestions on easy ways to remove them? There is no 'pitting', just
appears to be some light, scattered surface rust. Thought I heard
something about gasoline as a remover? Perhaps not. Any help is
appreciated!

TIA...
