So.... I have to pay $30 and join a club just so I can
read and article in the ragmag AMGBA puts out?
...forget it.

I can look it up myself at the library, at Bosch, and other sites.

Others interested in fuel injection for the MGB might be interested in an
article in the May - June 1998 OCTAGON newsletter of the AMGBA.

Werner Haussmann spent lots of time doing research about FI vendors,
FI reqirements in technical books, and on FI discussion groups.

He came up with a fuel injection system for MGB from standard junkyard
parts.

Re: the above $2200 retrofit fuel injection system for TR6 from Total
Advance. For this you get:

       new intake manifold
an Electronic Control Unit & appropriate sensors
       new engine wiring harness
       new Fuel lines/Fuel pump/Filter/Mounting hardware
       parts for throttle cable conversion
       new Hi Performance Air Filter
       Installation Instructions with Tech Support

The Haussmann do-it-yourself version involves:
- Craft an adapter plate to fit a Ford Tempo throttle body onto a late
(Zenyth) MGB intake manifold
- find a Bosch L-Jetronic air flow meter and computer from a car such as
a
BMW or Renault Fuego
- Do your own wiring harness revision based upon the wiring diagram of
the
donor car
- plumb in a new high pressure fuel pump and an additional (return) fuel
line.

He describes the actual installation as easy.
