I agree, you are going to want the wheels on when you are done anyway, 
otherwise you won't have nearly as much fun driving and your MPG will be 
dismal....  :)

I pulled mine off, it was no big deal.

My manuals also suggest pulling the oil cooler if you have one.  I did...
