Okay,
We've read about the upcoming Palo Alto event way out west. Sounds great.
There is another mammoth event coming up on Sept. 19th for all British Cars
in Southern Ontario, Canada.
The local Triumph Club (sorry, don't know their official name) is hosting
their annual British Car Day, at Bronte Creek Provincial Park, which is just
off the Queen Elizabeth Way at Oakville, just west of Toronto. The last few
years, they have had to turn cars away by about noon with over a thousand
cars in the show. It's arranged by marque and series. There's also a fairly
substantial swap meet and flea market on site.
MG content; usually a few hundred of most of the series made.
Well worth the effort if you're within a few hours run from the site.
Strongly suggest arriving by mid morning.
For the geographically challenged, the meet is about 1 1/4 hours north west
from Buffalo, N.Y., or 4 hours east of Detroit.
Hope to see you there. I'll be the guy studying early series 1 BGT's!
