Tyson this topic is often talked about on the shop-talk list. I'm sure you
will get all sorts of advice but here is mine. Forget the Century it's not
that much cheaper than real brand name. If you are paying 8% sales tax
then you are really paying $486 for the Century. For $529 ($43 dollars
more) you can get a Hobart from Harbor Freight with no shipping or sales
tax. A year from now you'll have forgotten that you spent the extra $43
dollars but you won't you won't forget that you have a really good welder.
What ever you decide to get besure you stay away from the flux wire jobs.
