Thanks for the response to my previous question after finding copper in the
crankcase. It was the main bearings, the center and ends in particular. A
regrind is in order and have stripped the engine completely. When I pulled
the #2 main, the cap was broken. Don't know if the unequal torque from the
wrench broke it or if it was already sheared. What would be the best bet to
have this welded, or try to track down a new cap?
