Paul and others:
At least some of the Canadian LEs do appear to have NUMBERED plaques. I
don't know if the plaques were numbered at the factory or were modified
after leaving the factory by the Canadian distributor. From a number of
years back I remember some talk of there being a run of 250 LEs for
Canada. Does anyone know more about this?? (Len Drake where are
you??) Clausager's picture was presumably of a US LE as probably 10
times or more LEs went to the US than to Canada.

Reading from Clausager, he shows a picture of the North American
'limited' edition/special dash plaque which does not appear to cary a
number, nor does Clausager mention that it did (unlike the Jubilee model
which is shown and mentioned as doing so). He says that 6682 cars were
built, and mentions the US and Canada in the same breath without
distinguishing between them. The UK Limited Edition cars were not
fitted with plaques, numbered or otherwise.
