Yep, and it seems gauge shops are the worst! One of the common problems
faced by us folks converting MGBs to V-8 spec is correcting the tach.
You can buy a new one for $150, or have the old modified for $100.
It seems, however, that the modification is merely adding a resistor
or two...which for $100 comes out to a lot more than we charge per
hour for *engineering development* time!
