Depends on which make / model car. On a Spridget, it's on the firewall, passenger side for US cars. On an MGB, it's on the inner fender under the bonnet, passenger side for US cars. It's a small black box w/wires going in and out of each side...holds four glass fuses on later cars or two glass fuses on earlier cars.
