How many times have we been over this on the list? Well, here it goes again.
My fuel pump is stopping every now and then, and it's really no major
problem, it's just annonying to have to keep the car rolling and shut it off
and re-crank it so it will start back up (depends on what you think a major
problem is I guess). :) Anyway, the fuel pump I have on there now is
original, so it may be coming to the end of its life. I bought a $30 deal
at AutoZone, but the only problem I have is to figure out how to fit the
thing on there. It's basically a can shaped looking thing (fuel pump in a
can?). I would have to bolt is somewhere else or figure out how to get
those fuel lines to fit around there. Anybody had any experience with
fitting one of these on there? Anybody got any suggestions on another good
cost saving fuel pump? Anyone have a good used SU fuel pump for a good
price (that would be nice)?
