Eek! It's moving time and I have to work on the Saturday. Tommorow I
start to move MG bits to a storage location. Engines, trans, rearends
etc. are going to be stored at an industrial storage unit. That way I
have the garage at my new house free to be a workshop. Just the thought
of moving 13 cars is giving me the shakes. Some time is going to be
spent on getting Dick Criswell's LE buttoned back together. I found an
uncracked in/exh manifold and am building an 1 3/4 HIF carb to get the
car running. Once through smog the twin SU's will go on, we just
found cool K & N filters that will clear the brake booster. After
getting no reasonable offers for the car in response to ads, I decided
to buy the car from the Criswells. I intend to take it to as many shows
out here as possible in "Dammit Dick" tradition, and drive the wheels
off it. Once my lady has recovered from totalling her 80 MGB, she will
have a roadster to drive until my V8 gets on the road.
So lots of lifting and hauling.
