BTW...does anyone happen to have any "real" proof that global warming is
actually taking place?
As Mr. Harkins mentioned above....all of this nonsense about
protecting the children is for the power. While I am not an advocate for
polluting the environment (as I would probably be stereotyped as), I do
believe that many of the environmentalists have gone way overboard.
"We're destroying the earth!" How many millions of years has the earth
existed? We are only a tiny microscopic dot on the line of time, and to
think that we have the ego to say that "we" are going to kill off everyone
by driving our polluting LBCs is absolutely crazy. Guess what....the
earth is going to be here after we leave. Every generation thinks that
they are going to be the last...it has always been like that. While our
generation seems to be the worst by far (which is actually helped along by
our caring liberals) I don't think it will be the last (and most certainly
not the worst).
I think that the only thing that will save our society is personal
and morale responsibility by everyone. Don't blame others...don't attack
others. There is an old proverb that goes kind of like
"Before you judge others, first look into the mirror"
I think that most people have lost site of that.
I may not be the best at this argument, but I try. I'm not going to
resort to calling names either (ie...overweight w/emphezema). About the
worst I get is environmental whackos. :)
Have a great day...
If you can't live your life, then why is it worth living?
(I guess that is why Dr Kevorkian is going to be a great person one of
these days) :\
Ah well...talk to you all later. :)
Enjoy your MGs while you can! :)
Sincerely,
Blake Wylie
