Are you using 20W50? That seems to be what everybody recommends for LBCs. Thinner oil will run lower pressure. Does anybody have a correlation between viscosity and pressure? Would a thinner oil actually have a larger volume flow? The manual for my new american iron actually warns specifically against 20W50. Why would 20W50 be so bad for a GM quad four engine?
