I just got a pair of rebuildable HS-4's and manifolds a few weeks back
(thank
you Mr. Boyd) and have cleaned them up and ordered rebuild kits. I noticed
while cleaning, that the throttle shaft on one of these carbs has some deep
scoring lines on it, but the inner bushing looked smooth.
Question is, how difficult is it to rebush the carbs? Can I do it myself
with a
kit, or would it be best to ship them off to someone, or can I get a local
machinist to do it?
I only have experience with HIF4's and they've been rock solid for 8
years..

There's so much comedy on television. Does that cause comedy in
the streets?
