Hey Lawrence:

Muchos gracias for the fine info on Snap On and other tools. For what
its worth, I have printed your posting and it will be placed in my three
ring binder of Internet Notes! Only the rich and famous (or, those who
pass on valuable information) make it to the Book!

I strongly agree with your notion about the bonding of the tool and
owner. My Dad had some Snap-On tools, all are gone except one 3/8"
ratchet that I have babied along for years. The mechanism slips and I
have several knuckles that have paid the price for my being sentimental!

Is it possible to rebuild this tool? I haven't checked for a model
number, but my guess is that its at least 20 years old or more. Any
suggestions you could pass on would be appreciated!

Cheers,
Jim Boyd
P.S. Yes, the "Fire Sale" continues...
