Rear axle leak

I'm having an ongoing problem with my disk wheeled 58 MGA right rear
axle leaking gear oil. I've replaced O-ring, seal, and gasket (twice) to
no avail. It leaks considerable less now but won't stop completely. I'm
not getting puddles of oil, just enough to wet the brake backing plate
and rim. I seems to leaking from around where the plate and axle join.
Is it possible that the hub itself needs replacement? Moss lists a
number for it but no price.
