Well, It makes it run better - On the freeway at certain rpm ranges. (About
2.5K to 3.5K) Around town, things are happy. I believe that the "richer"
needles actually provide a different fuel/air mixture curve.
I could be wrong, as I am going off of what I've read, and how I understand
the carbs to work..
