I agree, the MGB wheel mask is not worth it. To get a nice
crisp line, buy some fine-line masking tape at your local
bodyshop supply house. Center the tape right over the outline
of the spoke pressing in the wheel. Run your fingernail in
the groove all the way around the wheel to seat the tape,
then trace the stamping groove carefully with your sharp,
pointy tool-o-choice (x-acto knife, razor, etc). Peel off the
inside tape tracing and spray-away.
Prime and paint the entire wheel with a few coats of silver
first. Let them dry for a few days then tape/mask them off
and paint the centers black. If you are using spray-bums,
the Rustoleum semi-gloss black is the correct glossiness.
Good luck!
