Everyone likes the Ford nine inch because they are almost
indestructible. However, an excellent alternative is the Ford
eight inch found in many 60s vintage Falcons, Comets, Mustangs,
Cougars and others. If you get one from a Falcon or Comet you may
find it is the right width. If you get one from the station wagon
model it will have huge axles. The eight inch is also the pumpkin
style so gear ratios can be changed without too much effort. -- Best regards, Tom /// /// mgb-v8@autox.team.net mailing list /// Send admin requests to majordomo@autox.team.net /// Send list postings to mgb-v8@autox.team.net /// Edit your replies!
