I would say that the cost of the driveshaft will run
about $150 to $225 depending upon the shop you choose.
Mine was about $200 which some people commented was a
little bit too high.
A narrowed axle complete with MG brackets etc seems to
run about $700 to $800 depending upon options such as
limited slip / posi. I'm not sure what the cost of
the actual shortening is, if your planning on doing
the rest of the work yourself. Jack Emery sells the
the narrowed Ford axles, and I plan on getting one up
when I go to Maine to pick up my freshly painted car
in about a month.
I'm sure Jack is going to cut me a deal on mine, since
I'm giving him all this free advertising. Right Jack?
