Here are a couple of sites where you can get a bunch of information on K&N.
I have fit them to my carbed TR8 (zenith -stromberg).

This first site will get you into K&N UK

Various others sub sites will get you dimension drawings of most of their
filters

This one for instance will give you a dimension drawing of the filter for
the carbed Z-Stromberg (RC-2600)which needs adapters etc. -- long story
