Has any one used an MGB alternator when dropping a Buick 215 in their MGB?? When I hold up the Buick crankshaft pulley to the pulley on a '73 MGB alternator it appears that the pulley grooves are the same width and angle. I know that the MG alternators are more expensive, but I probably have six of them sitting around already and they are more compact than the GM alternator. Also, I don't see that the power requirements of the buick engine are significantly higher than those of the MG engine. Thanks. Kevin Brown Odessa, MO |
