I already have a stock Buick flywheel and I am thinking about lightening
it or buying one of the lightened ones that Ted sells. Has anyone had
any experience with lightening a stock flywheel? Mainly I'm interested
in knowing how far it can be safely lightened down to. I see that Ted's
flywheels are 22 pounds. If I didn't already have a stock flywheel I
would buy one without question, but since I already have the stock one
it may be a needless expense - and I'm sure that there will be plenty of
other expenses as the conversion takes place! ;-) By the way I'm
planning on using a '62 Buick 215 and an '84 Camaro T-5 in my
conversion. Thanks.
