The Pertronix ignition and coil is a good alternative to the original points
systems. It's reliable, looks stock and has good performance. You can get
the module and coil from Summit for about $100.

Greg, I had a GT V-8 with the 215 and an HEI dist. It works fine, however,
the larger distributor cap just adds to the height a bit, so you engine
needs
to sit nice and low. Its no great advantage, but it will work. I would
trade it for an electronic ignition unit that has the coil remote. The HEI
unit does not look the least bit stock under there if you are going for that
look.
