The rubber strip is cutaway for the bracket. It does not stop and then start
again at the bracket...some times the bracket will have to be shimmed tomake
the bonnet fit right.....and it was nailed in place.

Subject: [Mg-t] MG TD hood attachment
I am installing the hood on my MG TD. Does the rubber strip between the
bonnet
nd cowl need to be cut away to have the rear bracket attach directly to the
owl? Or does the bracket set on top of the rubber strip? Also has anyone
ried attaching the strip with 3M adhesive or does it have to be nailed or
tapled to the cowl wood?
Thanks
Al
